Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, ECM, sensors, aftertreatment systems, and emissions control components
- Lead diagnostic procedures and support other technicians in identifying and resolving complex issues
- Work on various semi-truck brands including Volvo, Freightliner, International, Mack, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and others
- Maintain documentation of repairs and diagnostics performed
- Communicate effectively with the service team and fleet managers regarding repairs and timelines
- Ensure work is done in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic with a strong background in diagnostics
- Extensive knowledge of computer-based diagnostic tools (OEM software preferred)
- Expertise in electrical troubleshooting and advanced diagnostics
- Experience working with multiple semi-truck brands, especially: Volvo, Freightliner, International, Mack, Kenworth, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex diagnostic processes
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently and as a team leader in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications from OEMs or ASE
- CDL-A license
- Bilingual is a plus
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
