Responsibilities and Essential Functions
· Perform diagnostic,mechanical, and electrical repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
· Replace and/or repairengines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, and suspensions.
· Perform routinemaintenance, such as oil changes, tune-ups, and fluid changes.
· Diagnose the cause ofmechanical failure, complex drivability problems, and safety problems inautomotive equipment and determine appropriate repairs needed.
· Perform skilled repairwork on automotive equipment.
· Operate complexcomputerized diagnostic equipment.
· Use hand and power toolssafely and skillfully.
· Safely lift objectsweighing 50 pounds.
· Retest drives afterrepairs are completed to verify that repair solve
· Work independently,prioritize work, and make sound decisions.
· Read and understandautomotive operating manuals and schematics.
Experience
· 5+ years ofprevious light-medium duty mechanical experience minimum.
· Proficiency indiagnosing and repairing light-medium duty trucks.
· Ability to workindependently or in a team.
· Ability to make decisions promptly.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Desire for a long-term career with a growing shop.
· Ability to read a wiring diagram.
Minimum Qualifications
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
· Excellent reading and writing skills
· Ability to speak and understandEnglish
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Experienced
Mechanics will receive top pay plus a generous bonus pay structure for theirproven skills!
Status Type: Regular Full-Time
Shifts (Central time): 8:00am – 4:30pm
Salary Range: $28.85-$43.27 per hour
