Responsibilities
· Inspect and repair diesel engines.
· Make major and minor engine repairs.
· Run diagnostics on a vehicle.
· Maintain diesel equipment operationby completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
· Correcting vehicle deficiencies.
· Making adjustments and alignments.
· Occasional service calls
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· 1-3 years of experience working on light to medium duty diesel trucks required.
· Cummins, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford or General Motors experience preferred.
· Capable of running diagnostics on a vehicle.
· Some maintenance experience preferred.
· Desire for growth.
· Clean driving record.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Skills, adeptness, and speed in the use of fingers, hands and/or limbs on repetitive operation of mechanical or electrical repair shop machines and tools.
- Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing in excess of 60 pounds.
- Move, load or unload material and parts for trucks and trailers.
- Push and maneuver heavy objects using carts, dollies, or dumpsters weighing up to 150 pounds.
- Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, battery acids, and exhaust fumes while in the shop work area
- Working within a service garage setting. Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations. Heavy phone usage, talking with customers. Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, and exhaust fumes.

Salary: $28.00to $32.00 /hour
The technician is paid Flat rate after a 90-day learning curve of how the shop operates.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm, Some Saturdays
